H/Advisors Maitland was appointed advisor to Amundi. Despite being Europe’s largest asset manager, Amundi was relatively unknown outside France.

Challenge

Amundi received a disproportionally low share of voice for its size.  It’s sheaf of investment experts was impressive but their output was tuned to other experts, not the broad investing community.

Strategy

H/Advisors developed a media engagement programme for the business, its leaders and Amundi’s acquisition/organic growth strategy.  This included high impact broadcast appearances to draw media attention to Amundi’s areas of expertise, such as its ETFs, passive investment and low-carbon products.

Outcome

Amundi’s share of voice has increased yearly since we were appointed.  It is now recognised as the leader in delivering the benefits of asset management industrialisation in terms of product range and pricing.
