Boehringer Ingelheim

Boehringer Ingelheim, a biopharma, launched its connected company purpose to over 52,000 employees.

Challenge

The ultimate goal: colleagues should see how the purpose connects to the company’s culture as well as their own contributions – now and in the future.

Strategy

Leaders had an important role to play as they need to bring the purpose to life in their daily actions. Moreover, they had the task of ‘translating’ and contextualising the purpose for specific local or functional requirements.  H/Advisors Maitland developed a concept and content for leader-led team engagement sessions to be rolled out across Boehringer Ingelheim.

Outcome

Boehringer Ingelheim engaged their colleagues and enabled everyone to turn strategic objectives into actionable to-dos for individuals.

“The Facilitator’s Guide was brilliant. After working through it, I felt completely informed, equipped, and prepared to run the sessions, without having had much to do with the topic beforehand at all.” – Client feedback
