H/Advisors Maitland was engaged by a global food producer facing a human rights class action on behalf of workers in the developing world.

The farm’s produce was sold to major supermarket chains. Security from theft was a problem.  Disputes over land rights complicated the situation.

We worked with the company at HQ in Europe and on the farm to manage the response.  This included setting up a Board level stewardship committee and operational grievance mechanism (OGM).
