Jonathan Cook

Jonathan joined H/Advisors Maitland in 2015 and specialises in financial and corporate PR, special situations and crisis communications, advising fast-growth category disruptors through to FTSE 100 leaders on cross-border positioning. He serves as senior counsel to a diverse range of clients, including listed and private companies, international organisations, HNWIs and governments.

His work spans the capital chain – on behalf of private capital businesses themselves as well as supporting international portfolio companies as they raise capital privately and publicly, from growth funding through to IPO and beyond.

Jonathan has extensive experience advising on special situations, including take-private transactions, M&A and complex stakeholder environments. This includes supporting the take-private of Round Hill Music Royalty Fund, advising on strategic communications around Hipgnosis Songs Fund on behalf of Concord Music Group, delivering financial communications support to Canal+, and advising London Technology Club on its global profile and reputation. He has also led highly targeted, multi-platform digital campaigns for clients.

Earlier in his career, Jonathan worked in public affairs and within the marketing team of a high-growth oilfield-technology start-up. He holds a degree in Politics and International Relations and leads the firm’s recruitment and internship programmes.
