Sam Turvey

Sam runs H/Advisors Maitland, the group’s UK office, as Managing Partner and specialises in guiding senior leaders and companies through critical moments, whether a deal, crisis or campaign.

He has 20 years experience in strategic communications and journalism having worked in London, Dubai and Hong Kong. He also has experience across many sectors – from banking and real estate to retail and defence – but has particular expertise in private capital, asset management and insurance. He supports both publicly listed and private businesses, as well as industry associations.

Prior to joining Maitland in 2010, he was Head of Communications at the British Chambers of Commerce, working closely with the business policy unit in Westminster during the global financial crisis. His background advising across media and public affairs, and in the UK, Middle East and Asia, has proved beneficial to companies looking to grow in global markets.
